Coach
My fitness journey started to avoid getting injured doing the things I love - surfing, snowboarding, and being active with my kids. I found that I enjoyed reclaiming my mobility, the process of learning to move well, and ultimately getting stronger. That journey led me to Seacoast Athletics, where a whole new world opened up for me. I love to learn, I love to be challenged, and I don't do anything halfway. As a result, my coaching journey was really just a natnsequence of knowing I could always move better.
I think the key to a happy life is to constantly look for, and overcome, things that make you uncomfortable. It feels weird to change how you move, what weights you grab, or how you approach a workout - but the energy that comes from watching someone do something they never thought they could do, however small? That's the real stuff.... No one can give that feeling, it can only be earned. Every time someone shows up for class, they make a deposit in the account of the person they want to become. Watching others make the decision to be challenged, and helping them get there is a gift, and I'm grateful for the opportunity.
